If you’re thinking of places to bring your dog and nothing interesting comes to mind. Here is list of some dog-friendly places you might like to go.
The Beach - Your dog will love taking a dip in the water, no matter where they are. A pond, stream or lake is also a good idea.
Dog Park – Take your dog in a different dog park. If you’re in the city, take a quick drive to a rural park, or vice-versa.
Another City – You may want to try and go on vacation with your dog in a city or town close by.
Car Ride – Make sure to secure your dog and take all necessary items to keep you and your dog safe.
Boat ride – Make sure to strap a life-vest on your dog too, especially if they are small.
Walk-This is when the owner and dog share a bond the most.
Pet store –Generally all pet stores will allow your dog to enter. Take this chance to find out what he likes.
Hike in the Woods-Beware of ticks when going into the woods. Bring along a tick preventative and all other necessities with you.
Friend’s House – It’s better if the friend has a dog so they can play with each other. Remember to let your friend know ahead of time that you’re coming over.
Doggy Daycare Facility-This allows him to mix and mingle with other dogs and hopefully will exhaust him at the end of the day.
Bike Ride-Big dogs can run beside you while a little dog can be carried in a carrier or a basket.
Running or Jogging- Not all dogs are made for jogging, so make sure you know your dogs limitations before you plan that half an hour run.
Sledding or Skijoring-Dogs love to frolluck no matter what where they are and in what condition. Snow is lots of fun.
Dog Training Course-Classes can be cheap or expensive. There are many different training courses for different dog ages so it’s never too late to start training your dog.
Outdoor Restaurants-You can grab a drink or bite to eat and let your dog bask in the sun beside you. Phone the restaurant to make sure it is okay for you to bring your dog.
Canoeing-This activity requires a more laid back and mild-mannered dog who won’t try and flip over the canoe.
